Description

Does it excite you to shape how a growing Medical Affairs organization answers scientific questions, builds knowledge, and trains its team, and do you have a PharmD and a passion for obesity and metabolic health? If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take on a broad area of responsibilities, then you could be our new colleague.

Your new position

As Sr Manager, Medical Information & Training, you will own two connected areas of impact: serving as our Medical Information Manager, responsible for answering unsolicited HCP and patient inquiries and ensuring scientifically accurate, compliant content, while also serving as our team's Training & Resource Lead, onboarding and upskilling our Medical Affairs team. This is a unique opportunity to build foundational processes and knowledge resources as we scale our US presence, working across obesity, amylin biology, and our petrelintide pipeline.

LOCATION: remote/hybrid (Northeast USA)

We offer exciting responsibilities:

  • Answer unsolicited HCP and patient inquiries with scientifically sound, timely responses
  • Own (author) and continuously update standard response documents
  • Ensure scientific accuracy and compliant content through MLR review
  • Partner with Global Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance on early asset development inquiries
  • Track inquiry trends and surface insights upstream to feed the GMA insights engine
  • Onboard and train the Medical Affairs team using adult learning and assessment best practices.
  • Own and maintain the team's knowledge base across obesity, amylin, and petrelintide
  • Lead ongoing product and systems training, and serve as a go-to triage resource cross-functionally

Your profile

You are a scientifically rigorous, detail-oriented communicator who thrives at the intersection of medical information and adult learning. You bring structure to ambiguity, build trusted relationships across GMA, Compliance, Regulatory, Commercial, and the MSL team, and enjoy translating complex science into clear, actionable resources for others.

  • PharmD required
  • Experience in medical information and/or medical communications within pharma or biotech
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs (adult learning and assessment methodology)
  • Strong understanding of MLR review processes and compliance requirements in medical communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate scientific content for varied audiences
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships with Compliance, Regulatory, Commercial, and MSLs

Your new team

You will report to US Medical Affairs, joining our growing US Medical Affairs organization at a pivotal moment as we build out our Boston hub and prepare for the petrelintide launch. Key partners include US Medical Affairs (field medical MSLs and home office team) ,Global Medical Affairs, Compliance, Regulatory, and Commercial.
