Front Desk Team Lead

Toombs Orthodontics is seeking a rockstar Front Desk Team Lead for our two Johnson County offices. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the public and have management experience. be organized, personable, and work well with other staff members to lead our front desk team and ensure that our patient experience runs smoothly.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
• Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM

Duties for our Front Desk Team Lead include (but are not limited to)

• Supervise and work closely with front desk staff, including coaching the staff on excellent patient service
• Oversee scheduling, check-in/check-out
• Assist in insurance verification and billing workflows
• Handle patient questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion
• Ensure that the daily schedule runs on time by working closely with the orthodontic lead assistant
• Train new team members and support ongoing development
• Work closely with doctors, clinical team, treatment coordinators, and the office manager
• Assist in covering the front desk when other staff members are on vacation or are out for illness

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of front office experience, preferably in a dental or orthodontic office
• 1+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Familiar with practice management software (Dolphin, Dentrix, OrthoTrac, etc.)
• Knowledge of insurance benefits is a plus
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
