Marbles Kids Museum is a vibrant, nonprofit children’s museum and IMAX Theatre located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Marbles has been sparking imagination, discovery, and learning through play since opening its doors in 2007. Marbles’ serves a diverse population of families, school groups, and community organizations through award-winning play-based exhibits, summer camps, IMAX documentaries, feature movies, and special events year-round. Today Marbles ranks among the top family destinations in North Carolina providing learning experiences for children with creative programs, and larger-than-life movies. 

The Opportunity 

Creating memorable experiences for Marbles guests starts with exceptional customer service. As a Customer Support Assistant, you will respond to customer inquiries, complete ticket exchanges, and support the general operations of the Customer Support Team with a friendly touch and an eye for detail.

Job Responsibilities

• Connect with guests via telephone and email to provide information, aid in ticket cancellations, and complete rescheduling requests. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve guest problems and concerns across sales channels. 
• Create and manage group invoices. 
• Ongoing support of projects such as birthday signage, camp materials, group and Member database updates, and account management. 
• Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Ideal Experience and Skill

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-driven position or industry. 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software or CRM systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Physical Demands

• Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Walking, standing, stooping, bending, sitting for long periods
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Schedule

• Flexible hourly schedule, 16-20 hours per week. 
• Weekday availability preferred. 

Work Environment

• 95% indoors.
• Occasional evening and weekend shifts are encouraged to support busy operations and 
  events.
