Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures. You will be expected to maintain a sterile environment, prepare surgical instruments and equipment, and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures
- Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
- Monitor and maintain a sterile environment
- Ensure that all necessary supplies are available
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance as needed
- Prepare patients for surgery and transport them to and from the operating room
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
Requirements:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
