Overview
As a Seasonal Event Tech Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping all electronic and technical systems running flawlessly throughout the haunted attraction season. Your duties include installing and configuring lighting, sound, animatronics, and interactive elements before opening, conducting pre-show testing, and remaining on-call during operations to diagnose and repair malfunctions immediately. You'll work with DMX lighting systems, PLC systems for automated scares, pneumatic systems for animatronics, and various control systems. The role requires hands-on experience in electrical wiring or electronics, preferably in live events or entertainment production. You must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and operate in dark, confined, fog-filled environments during evening, weekend, and extended hours from August through November.
