Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets by leading retail and wholesale sales strategies. This role oversees sales team performance, manages key customer relationships, develops channel-specific commercial plans, and partners with Marketing to execute brand initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic business plans that address gross revenue, net sales, and expense management.
• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
• Set and monitor individual sales goals.
• Track sales metrics, compile reports, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee daily operations and performance of the brands under your responsibility.
• Align marketing initiatives with sales strategies to ensure a cohesive brand message.
• Adapt global brand strategies to local market conditions for maximum impact.
• Grow market share in assigned accounts through strategic brand positioning.
• Lead negotiations with major accounts and partners.
• Build tailored commercial strategies by channel and by retailer.
• Manage client relationships across all phases of the sales cycle.
• Ensure timely execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, and special product introductions.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in both retail and wholesale sales environments.
• Background working with fashion brands.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High tolerance for pressure and a solutions-driven mindset.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative approaches.
• Analytical skills to assess market trends, challenges, and forecast performance.
• Experience in planning and executing sales strategies.
• Strong background in customer relationship management.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Required Skills
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
• Essential retail knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Native Spanish speaker and advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office and other business productivity tools.
