Service Director

Drive Growth and Customer Success as Our Director, Services

As part of our succession planning, this position is being opened in advance of the planned retirement of the current Director, Services. We are seeking a strong successor who can ensure continuity, build on an established foundation, and lead the business into its next phase of growth and customer success.

As our Director, Services, you will take full ownership of the service business within your area, driving profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term value creation. You will work closely with sales, operations, product groups, and business leadership to expand service opportunities across the installed customer base and lifecycle upgrades. This is a highly visible leadership role where your strategic thinking and commercial mindset will make a lasting impact on both customers and business performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the regional Services business with full P&L responsibility, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
• Develop and execute the area service growth strategy in alignment with the global Services strategy and business objectives.
• Lead service sales activities, expand lifecycle service offerings, and identify upgrade opportunities across the installed customer base.
• Collaborate with Business Unit management, product groups, and local Sales and Operations teams to achieve business targets and service KPIs.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of service managers while fostering a strong customer-centric culture focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Build and maintain trusted long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders to support business growth and customer success.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience leading a service business and delivering measurable business growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing business performance, profitability, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in developing and managing high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across customers and internal organizations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international business environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for improving customer satisfaction and creating long-term value.
