Project Manager II, CQV 

Who You'll Work With 

At Design Group, you'll collaborate with experienced leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to solve complex challenges for some of the world's leading companies. You'll join a growing team of more than 1,500 professionals across 45 U.S. offices where you'll be empowered to make an impact, develop your expertise, and grow your career. 

What You'll Do 

In this role, you'll manage commissioning, qualification, and validation projects for life sciences clients from concept development through project closure. You'll work closely with clients and project teams to develop plans, coordinate resources, and deliver integrated project execution across design, installation, start-up, commissioning, qualification, and validation. This position plays an important role in achieving scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction objectives while strengthening and expanding client relationships. 

Develop project plans and execution strategies for commissioning, qualification, and validation engagements 

Manage project resources, budgets, forecasts, schedules, engineering activities, and project documentation 

Lead project execution from concept development through design, implementation, installation, commissioning, start-up, and closure 

Coordinate commissioning, qualification, and validation activities in accordance with the approved project plan 

Drive project outcomes aligned with defined scope, schedule, budget, and client objectives 

Maintain and grow client relationships throughout project development and execution 

Support local and regional client development and expansion efforts 

What You'll Bring 

Qualifications 

Bachelor of Science in biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or another STEM field, or equivalent relevant experience 

Minimum of five years of commissioning, qualification, validation, and project management experience in life sciences applications 

Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, forecasts, and project documentation 

Experience supporting life sciences projects through design, implementation, installation, commissioning, and start-up 

Ability to travel for project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company-sponsored meetings, training, seminars, forums, and conventions 

Preferred Qualifications 

Pharmaceutical or other life sciences industry experience 

Experience managing the full project life cycle from concept development through project closure #LI-TH1
