Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Support PCB assembly, modification, rework, and precision soldering/de-soldering of ICs, surface-mount components, prototype boards, and production boards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose board-level issues, including power-up failures, soldering defects, component failures, and assembly problems
- Assist engineers with board bring-up, testing, debugging, validation, electrical measurements, data collection, and results documentation
- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure equipment, tools, supplies, and work areas are available, organized, and ready for use
- Maintain laboratory inventory, including test equipment, tools, consumables, and electronic components, and coordinate procurement as needed
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, tracking, and documentation of laboratory instruments and assets
- Promote laboratory safety, 5S practices, ESD compliance, and proper handling of sensitive electronic devices
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- Good understanding of passive components, semiconductors, power devices, and basic analog and digital circuits
- Hands-on experience with SMT soldering, rework, and board-level assembly
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic hardware
- Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, network analyzers, and power supplies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for documentation and report generation
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
