Who We Are
HOH Water Technology is a third-generation, family-owned water treatment company proudly celebrating over 58 years in business. Our success has always been about more than water treatment - it is about investing in people and creating lasting impact for our clients, coworkers, and community. We believe our people are our greatest competitive advantage, and we have built a culture centered around our Core Values of Accountability, Creativity, Teamwork, and Service.
We are looking for someone who wants more than a recruiting role. We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of HOH by finding the right people - people who are not only qualified for the job, but who will thrive here.
About the Role
• This is not a transactional recruiting role where success is measured by how quickly a seat gets filled.
• This role requires three strengths at once: relentless operational follow-through to keep every open requisition, calendar invite, document, compliance step, and metric on track; relational warmth to create a thoughtful candidate experience and represent HOH’s culture well; and proactive networking energy to source talent, build pipelines, strengthen employer brand, and develop relationships
• You will own the full recruiting lifecycle from job requisition through offer acceptance, serving as the first ambassador of the HOH employee experience.
• You will partner closely with hiring managers to define what great looks like, build proactive talent pipelines, create a thoughtful candidate experience, and keep the hiring process moving with clarity and accountability.
• You will play a direct role in our goal that 100% of HOH employees are Thriving or actively working a plan to Thrive - because that journey starts with who we bring into the organization.
• If you love connecting great people to meaningful opportunities, care deeply about culture, and take ownership of the details that create an exceptional hiring experience, we would love to meet you.
What We Offer
• Competitive Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 annually.
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical and Dental Insurance with generous employer contributions, HSA contributions ($1,200 family / $800 individual annually), 401(k) with company matching, Life Insurance, and much more.
• Generous Time Off: 15 PTO days, 16 paid holidays including extended holiday pay at the end of the year.
• Profit Sharing Bonus: Company Profit Sharing Bonus (budget projection for 2026: approximately 3-4 weeks of additional pay).
• Engaging Culture: Caring leaders who invest in people, celebrate wins, give back, and create meaningful connections through team and company events.
• Career Growth: Hands-on training, professional development, continuing education reimbursement, and the opportunity to grow your ownership and impact as HOH continues to grow.
You'll Love This Role If...
• You love finding the right person, not just a person. You are curious about what makes someone successful in a role and energized by matching capability, values, and potential with the right opportunity.
• You make things happen. You do not wait for someone to tell you what needs attention. You keep candidates, managers, interviews, and decisions moving and follow through until the process is complete.
• You are incredibly organized and detail-oriented. Multiple open roles, interview schedules, calendar invites, candidate communications, offer details, documentation, and follow-ups do not get lost on your watch.
• You genuinely care about people. You understand that every interaction shapes how a candidate sees HOH, and you want every person - hired or not - to leave the process feeling respected and cared for.
• You are a strong partner. You can build trust with hiring managers, ask thoughtful questions, set expectations, provide candid feedback, and hold the process accountable to timelines.
• You think ahead. You build pipelines before the need becomes urgent, spot patterns in recruiting challenges, and look for ways to continuously improve how we attract and select talent.
• You enjoy getting out ahead of the need. You are energized by sourcing, networking, building relationships with schools and community partners, and creating pipelines before a role becomes urgent.
• You embrace technology and data. You are comfortable learning recruiting systems and sourcing tools and using metrics, technology, and AI to improve efficiency and quality.
• You care about culture. You understand that every hire shapes the team and take seriously the responsibility of bringing people into an organization where we want everyone to thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
• Own the full recruiting lifecycle from requisition through signed offer, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate communication, and closing.
• Manage open requisitions across departments including Field Services, Sales and Marketing, Technical, Operations, Finance and Administration and maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline visibility.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, build compelling job postings, align on the ideal candidate profile, and keep hiring decisions moving.
• Build proactive talent pipelines for recurring and high-priority roles through job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks, and community relationships.
• Coordinate the full interview process, including scheduling, calendar invites, candidate preparation, panel coordination, debriefs, timely follow-up, and quick candidate communication so no one is left wondering where things stand.
• Manage the offer process in partnership with the HR Director, including compensation benchmarking, offer letter preparation, and negotiation support.
• Create a warm handoff to the Culture & Engagement Specialist after offer acceptance, ensuring pre-hire steps and candidate context are complete before Day 1.
• Champion HOH's employer brand and use recruiting metrics, candidate feedback, and market insights to continuously improve how we hire.
• Keep the small details tight, including interview logistics, calendar accuracy, candidate status updates, timely responses, notes, documentation, and handoffs.
• Maintain consistent, equitable, compliant hiring practices and clear documentation within the ATS or designated system of record.
What Success Looks Like
• Hiring managers have clear visibility into their pipelines and trust you as a proactive recruiting partner.
• Candidates experience timely, warm, professional communication at every stage and leave with a positive impression of HOH.
• HOH develops stronger proactive pipelines and is not starting from zero each time a critical role opens.
• HOH has stronger relationships with talent sources, professional networks, and community partners that create a healthier long-term candidate pipeline.
• Offers, background checks, start dates, and onboarding handoffs are completed accurately and without avoidable delays.
• Interview logistics, calendar invites, candidate updates, documentation, and hiring manager follow-ups are handled with precision and urgency.
• Recruiting decisions consistently balance skill, values alignment, and the candidate's potential to thrive at HOH.
• Recruiting data and feedback are used to improve quality of hire, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance over time.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a multi-department or multi-location environment.
• Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with candidates and leaders at all levels.
• High ownership mentality with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Genuine passion for people, culture, and creating an excellent candidate experience.
• Ability to balance operational discipline, relationship-building, and proactive sourcing energy in a fast-moving recruiting environment.
• Knowledge of employment law basics and consistent, equitable hiring practices.
• Comfort using recruiting metrics, compensation benchmarks, and labor market information to support decisions and improve results.
• Comfort learning new technology and leveraging AI and recruiting tools to work smarter and improve the hiring process.
• Experience in a growing, multi-location, or family-owned business is a plus.
