Meet our Team
The Revenue Performance Organization in Controllership is a dynamic, stakeholder and customer-oriented team in Finance that is focusing on revenue recognition. We value business-focus while ensuring that we meet compliance and revenue standards under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). We collaborate with logistics, FP&A, broader controllership, change management, shared services, and audit associates.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multi-country, project-based engagements across several countries and functions globally. Your responsibilities will include preparing invoice requests for global clients, performing balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining cost files, completing various calculations, and ensuring the accurate recording of project-related transactions across multiple countries. You will also initiate and monitor a wide range of financial transactions.
As a Managed Services Accountant, you will collaborate closely with GL Accountants, Revenue Accounting teams, Deal Support, GFSS teams, and other stakeholders across Hitachi Vantara, including Finance Managers, Client Directors, Service Delivery Managers, Services Controllers, Program and Project Managers, and Financial Accountants. You will have opportunities to work with Global Revenue Performance colleagues to drive consistency in best practices and professional judgment. The role also involves interaction with external customers and internal and external auditors, as well as supporting ad hoc finance activities as required.
What you bring to the team:
• 1+ years’ experience in finance and accounting
• Experience of the Order to Cash process and industry leading best practice
• Working knowledge of IFRS and SOX
• Experience of working directly with multiple countries and cultures in a finance capacity
• Knowledge of Oracle
• Knowledge of Excel
• Fluent English
• Prepared to engage with business partners
• Time management, professionalism, drive and resilience, building relationships, delivering quality service, feedback, and learning
• Problem solving – Query resolution related to a variety of issues is required on a regular basis.
