As a Transportation Security Officer: Airport Patrol Documentation in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism. - Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, restricted areas, and facility activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious circumstances to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or airport personnel as directed by site protocols.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and documentation of observations, patrols, and interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
