- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, perimeter zones, access points, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and report suspicious activity, unattended items, access-control concerns, hazards, and other security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and provide clear information and directions to the public when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
