We are the leading provider of professional services to the middle market globally, our purpose is to instill confidence in a world of change, empowering our clients and people to realize their full potential. Our exceptional people are the key to our unrivaled, inclusive culture and talent experience and our ability to be compelling to our clients. You’ll find an environment that inspires and empowers you to thrive both personally and professionally. There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.
RSM is a leading provider of audit, tax, and consulting services to middle-market businesses and entrepreneurs across a broad range of industries. The RSM Catamaran team provides a strategic bridge between business development, practice leadership, customers, and internal operations. This team offers the opportunity to work in a startup-like environment and help shape the practice's future from the ground up.
We are seeking an experienced Content Development Manager to join the RSM Catamaran team. This role owns the creation of clear, compelling content across multiple channels — web and SharePoint knowledge content, newsletters and editorial articles, and client- and stakeholder-facing communications — often in support of change and enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a versatile writer who applies a human-centered mindset to all audiences, translates complex topics into accessible messaging, and brings familiarity with organizational change management (OCM) practices to strengthen the way change is communicated across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
Multi-channel content creation: Write, edit, and produce high-quality content across formats — web and SharePoint pages, newsletters and editorial articles, FAQs, and client- and stakeholder-facing communications — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a professional, on-brand voice.
Change & enablement communications: Develop communications that build awareness, understanding, and adoption around Catamaran change initiatives, reinforcing key messages and addressing audience concerns across diverse stakeholder groups.
Audience-centered writing: Apply a human-centered mindset — considering audience needs, context, and experience — to shape messaging, structure, and tone so content is clear, accessible, and actionable for its intended readers.
Knowledge & SharePoint content: Create and maintain content on enterprise and Internal Workspace (IWS) SharePoint sites, supporting Knowledge Management initiatives and keeping content accurate, current, and easy to navigate.
Editorial standards & quality assurance: Review and edit content for clarity, coherence, grammar, and compliance with company branding and messaging; conduct quality assurance on your own work and the work of others.
Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with SMEs, leadership, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Enterprise Communications, Talent Development, Marketing) to gather inputs, clarify requirements, and ensure consistent, aligned messaging.
Content planning & coordination: Manage intake requests and editorial calendars, track progress in Smartsheet, and coordinate timely delivery across competing priorities.
Measurement & improvement: Help establish and track content performance and engagement metrics, translating insights into recommendations that improve reach, clarity, and adoption.
Other duties as assigned.

Strong editing and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Experience with Smartsheet for content tracking and coordination.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with organizational change management methodologies (e.g., Kotter, Prosci) and how to apply them to change communications.
Experience leveraging GenAI content tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to draft, edit, and accelerate content development.
Demonstrated application of human-centered design principles to content and communications.

Experience supporting Knowledge Management or enterprise intranet/SharePoint content.
Experience in professional services or a managed services environment.
