Sales Support - Analyst

About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire an Internal Wholesale Analyst to join the Alternative Distribution team. This individual will work with new and existing advisors throughout the lifecycle of the alternative investment. This role partners with External Wholesalers and own advisor relationships actively prospecting, educating, and closing new business while deepening engagement with existing clients. This role connects financial advisors and iCapital's full ecosystem, driving platform adoption and revenue growth across the alternatives marketplace.

 

Responsibilities

• Build pipeline and drive revenue by proactively prospecting and activating new financial advisors, delivering a compelling iCapital value proposition that converts interest into investment activity.
• Lead go-to-market campaigns, spearhead outreach around new product launches, conferences, and thought leadership content to generate qualified engagement and accelerate the sales cycle.
• Be a trusted alternatives expert and continuously deepen knowledge of alternative investment products to consult advisors with confidence and credibility at every stage of the deal.
• Drive CRM discipline and maintain sharp Salesforce records and advisor profiles that fuel smarter targeting and stronger team performance across the firm.
• Manage and grow referral revenue and identify and route high-potential opportunities to the iCapital Structured Investments, Architect, and Client Solutions teams.
• Act as the main point of contact and problem solver for advisors regarding investment creation and servicing.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 1–2 years of outbound sales experience with building rapport fast and moving prospects through a funnel
• Background in investment or financial services; familiar with alternatives is a plus
• Strong command of Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Tableau or BI tools is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, sharp critical thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required
• Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification preferred or must obtain within 2 years of hire

 

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
