Job Summary

Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated Finance Trainee to support our finance department with various tasks and projects. This entry-level role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate finance within a global automotive supplier.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist with data entry and reconciliation of financial transactions.
* Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Participate in financial analysis and variance explanations.
* Assist with audit preparations and documentation.
* Learn and apply company financial policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
* Perform ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
