Description
BASIC POSITION DUTIES:
- To support the layout, testing and inspection requirements for the facility.
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform functions such as: Gage Repair & Calibration, Gage R & R Studies, Precision Inspection, Gage / Fixture Layout.
- Supplement Receiving Inspection and in-process Testing activities.
- Support New Product Launches.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School plus 2 years Vocational Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Field preferred.
- A minimum of 1-year experience in Automotive/Industrial environment in testing.
- Understanding geometric dimensions and tolerances is a must.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Working knowledge of inspection/quality principles.
- Strong written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in and promote a team environment.
- Working knowledge of personal computer applications.
- Knowledge TS16949 Quality System standards.
- Knowledge of basic chemistry and physics in high school or college.
- Knowledge of basic SPC principles.
