We're inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Patient Services Officers for a 12-month Senior Patient Services Officer opportunity in Albany.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your leadership skills while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care and support within a collaborative oncology environment.
As the Senior Patient Services Officer, you'll play a key role in leading the administration team, supporting daily operations, and ensuring our patients receive a seamless and positive experience throughout their care journey.
This is a full time, 12-month opportunity, working within a supportive team that values collaboration, professionalism, and patient-centred care

More specifically, you will:
- Provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day support to the Patient Services team.
- Assist with staff rostering, onboarding and training activities.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient service and administration support.
- Support the management of clinic operations, patient correspondence and service delivery standards.
- Assist with patient accounts, billing enquiries and informed financial consent processes.
- Work closely with the Centre Leader on continuous improvement initiatives and centre projects.
- Build strong relationships with patients, clinicians and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and support team members to achieve individual and team goals.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in medical administration or patient services within a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and private health fund billing processes.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
- Experience using clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office applications.
