Job Title: Senior Validation Engineer
About the Opportunity: As a Senior Validation Engineer, you will drive critical validation projects—both on-site and in-house—serving as the go-to technical partner for our customers, sales team, and technical support specialists. Beyond mastering complex technical challenges, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our engineering team by coaching and mentoring the next generation of talent, ensuring operational excellence across every deployment.
Location: Onsite - Wood Dale, IL
What you will be doing:
- Perform on-site validation (Installation, Operational, Performance Qualifications) and calibration execution at customer locations throughout North America
- Perform in-house validation (Factory Acceptance Testing) and calibration execution
- Assist with developing, writing and revising validation protocols and calibration procedures
- Assist in keeping validation equipment organized, functional and compliant
- Assist in quoting validation services and documents
- Work in conjunction with our technical support department to provide validation and calibration support to our customers
- Providing support on customer generated testing protocols
- Assist in keeping team members up to date with the latest industry trends and regulatory requirements
- Technical Support
- Provide telephone technical support to customers as needed on product operation, maintenance and repair of biomedical products
What you need for success:
- 5+ years of experience in Calibration, Validation or GLP/GMP procedures
- bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with MS Office
- Experience with Validator/Mapping systems
- Experience in electrical and/or electronic troubleshooting procedures
- Refrigeration experience preferred
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, including occasional nights and weekends
- Up to 50% travel required (North America)
The hiring range for this position is: $85,000-$95,000 plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
