Description
Develop, maintain, and release automated test programs for semiconductor products using industry-leading Automated Test Equipment (ATE). Support new product introduction, production optimization, yield improvement, and test cost reduction while working closely with product, design, and manufacturing teams. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Develop, debug, validate, and release ATE test programs for new and existing semiconductor products. Troubleshoot and resolve complex test-related issues to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Design and optimize test methodologies to improve test coverage, yield, and cost performance. Analyze analog and digital circuits, review hardware schematics, and support test hardware development. Collaborate with Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Software Engineering, and Manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle. Perform statistical data analysis to identify trends, improve yield, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and release packages for production. Support and mentor junior engineers on test engineering fundamentals and best practices. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor test development or ATE test engineering. Hands-on experience in test program development using C/C++, Java, Unix, or similar programming languages. Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), particularly: Teradyne Nextest Magnum 1/2 Advantest V93000 SmarTest 8 Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis, debugging, and test methodology development. Experience reviewing hardware schematics and PCB layouts using Altium, Allegro, or similar design tools. Familiarity with statistical data analysis tools such as JMP, PDF Exensio, Silicon DA, or advanced Excel. Good communication, problem-solving, and technical presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SoC (System-on-Chip) and Mixed-Signal devices. Background in semiconductor product development, qualification, or manufacturing environments.
