Real Estate Analyst

Ecolab is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to support the Corporate Real Estate team across the Americas region. Reporting to the Senior Real Estate Manager, this role will support the execution of real estate strategies for Ecolab’s leased and owned property portfolio. The Real Estate Analyst will partner closely with business units, Legal, Finance, and external real estate partners to facilitate timely real estate decisions, coordinate critical lease documentation, and maintain accurate portfolio records. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple real estate transactions and priorities.

What You Will Do:

• Monitor leased and owned property portfolios to ensure compliance with lease obligations and track critical dates using CoStar and other real estate management tools.
• Coordinate with internal portfolio teams and business stakeholders to ensure timely responses to lease expirations, renewals, and other critical lease events.
• Communicate with global site contacts to align on real estate decisions and actions required prior to key lease milestones.
• Coordinate contract reviews, approvals, and execution processes with Legal, Finance, business units, and external real estate partners.
• Manage day-to-day real estate transactions and facilitate follow-up activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support implementation of real estate market strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct financial and operational analyses to identify cost savings opportunities and evaluate real estate alternatives.
• Prepare lease-related communications including renewal notices, tenant allowance documentation, lease commencement notices, and broker commission documentation.
• Maintain organized documentation and records for leased and owned properties.
• Prepare and transfer property files, invoices, and supporting documentation for entry into CoStar and other portfolio management systems.
• Develop reports, analyses, and presentations for business leaders and real estate leadership.
• Support internal and external audit requests by gathering and maintaining required documentation.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Position Details (Location & Work Schedule):

• Full-time position.
• Reports to the Senior Real Estate Manager.
• Supports Ecolab’s real estate portfolio primarily throughout the Americas region.
• Work schedule and location to be determined based on business needs and hiring location requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate, lease administration, portfolio management, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with real estate database software, including CoStar or similar systems.
• Strong data management and reporting experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information appropriately.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of data and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Financial analysis skills and strong mathematical aptitude.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience creating custom reports and dashboards.
• Experience with CoStar lease database systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Technology-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and external partners.

The pay range for this position is $65,800.00 - $98,700.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
