Maintenance Engineer
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure all processes related to installation, maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems adhere to safety standards and regulations,
• Responsible for design maintenance procedures, SOP and WI to ensure safe working environment and maximum equipment reliability and efficiency,
• Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime,
anticipate problems in a timely manner and to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement plant maintenance program based on best practices in the automated
manufacturing industry with an emphasis on preventive/predictive maintenance including detailed step-by-step job plans for maintenance technicians,
• Ensure routine calibration, validation and maintenance requirements of a variety of electromechanical,
hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken and controlled
• Taking part in the process of the introduction of new machinery and equipment from drawing up
the specification to contact with suppliers to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties
• Perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/failures, take required corrective and
preventive actions to avoid recurrence of such conditions
• Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment from gaining
agreement to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal
• Establish and monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment
as well as order necessary parts, tools, equipment, etc. in a timely manner by following company
policies
• Track, analyse and improve key maintenance parameters such as utility consumption data,
maintenance cost, schedule compliance and circulate it for management review
• Manage contractors and service providers on site to ensure they meet legal and company
Requirements,
• Ensure machinery and equipment compliance with code of practice, labour, safety, health and
environmental regulatory requirements
• Provide technical guidance, support, and strategic oversight to maintenance technicians,
• Taking part in the overall planning of maintenance activities
• Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities,
• Perform other tasks assigned by Manager

• Budget responsibility: No

• Authorized to decide on investments according to role and policy
• Authorized to report any quality, environment or health and safety nonconformities, ideas, risks and opportunities
Requirements:
• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields
• Experience in the modern Operations Management principles (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
• Knowledge of an example driven management of the shop floor (5S)
• Good command of English (written and oral)
• Very good command of Polish
• Knowledge of Polish legislation and work environment
• Experience in creating mechanical designs, component engineering
• Strategic thinking and highly developed organizational skills
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
Key development areas:
• PLC HMI Programing,
• Mechanics Knowledge (documentation, drawings)
• RCM , Preventive and Predictive Maintenance knowledge
• Certificates allowing to perform operations and maintenance of equipment under TDT certification,
• SEP 1kV
