Description
SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Executive Assistant, Legal, (EA) provides confidential executive-level administrative support for corporate, regulatory, legal, legislative, and governance matters. The EA manages executive communications, correspondence, briefing materials, meetings, records, and action items, in support of departmental and corporate priorities. The position regularly handles confidential, sensitive, and time-critical matters and requires a high degree of discretion, attention to detail, professionalism, and sound judgment. The EA demonstrates a commitment to service excellence by providing responsive, accurate, and professional support to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
Provides proactive, confidential executive-level support to the Executive Vice President including calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, briefing materials, priority tracking, and follow-up.
Supports corporate, regulatory, legal, legislative, and governance matters by preparing documentation, managing agendas and materials, coordinating meetings, and tracking action items and deadlines.
Coordinates communications on behalf of the Executive Vice President serving as a key contact for executives, Board members, employees, government representatives, legal counsel, and external stakeholders.
Maintains electronic and physical legal files and records, manages confidential, sensitive, and time-critical information, supports document execution processes, and coordinates information requests, including Freedom of Information requests.
Assists legal counsel and department personnel with administrative support, records management, planning, prioritization, process improvement, and special projects.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Post-secondary education in business administration, office administration, or related discipline.
Five (5) years' progressive experience providing executive-level administrative support to senior leaders or executive teams.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, with the ability to prepare and manage executive-level documentation, presentations, and communications.
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate meetings and travel, and adapt to changing demands.
Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling confidential, sensitive, and time-critical information.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships, anticipate needs, work independently, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Working knowledge or experience with corporate governance, board and executive meeting processes, legal regulatory requirements (e.g. Freedom of Information requests), legislative processes (e.g., statutory and regulatory amendments, Orders in Council), and government approval processes, would be considered an asset.
A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
Additional Information
Travel away from bid headquarters may be required on occasion.
