The Sales Specialist will be responsible for frontline TUFLOW software sales execution with external commercial business and government clients within the Australia, Asia and Pacific region. The position will work with and report to the APAC Sales Lead, and will be supported by the APAC Sales and Licensing Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for software purchase enquiries.
- Develop strong relationships and a thorough understanding of the flood, stormwater, river, coastal, and water industries and TUFLOW’s products in order to support educated conversations with existing and prospective customers.
- Drive software sales growth by engaging prospective customers and guiding them from enquiry through to onboarding.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proposals, and commercial solutions that showcase the value of TUFLOW software.
- Strengthen customer retention through proactive account management and subscription renewals.
- Represent TUFLOW at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and market developments to uncover future growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical, product, and leadership teams to enhance customer experience and drive business success.
About you
- 5+ years of experience in software, technology or technical solution sales.
- Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships and progressing opportunities through the sales process.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical products and communicate their value to customers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers, opportunities and priorities.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
