Job Summary:

Acrisure is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to support the closing and settlement process for real estate transactions. This role is primarily responsible for preparing accurate settlement statements, verifying payment and wiring information, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure funds are properly disbursed.

 

The ideal candidate has strong experience preparing and reviewing settlement statements and understands the financial components of real estate closings. Experience supporting closings across multiple states or working in a National Closing Coordinator capacity is preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely settlement statements for real estate transactions, ensuring all fees, credits, payoffs, taxes, and other transaction-related amounts are properly reflected.
• Review and verify payment amounts, wiring instructions, and other financial information associated with closings.
• Work closely with the internal wiring and disbursement teams to provide accurate wire disbursement instructions.
• Review closing documentation and transaction details to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy prior to closing and disbursement.
• Coordinate with internal teams and other parties involved in the transaction to obtain information needed to finalize settlement statements.
• Ensure settlement and disbursement activities are completed in accordance with company procedures, underwriting requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete transaction records and documentation.
• Assist with resolving settlement, funding, or disbursement discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage multiple transactions and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide responsive and professional support to internal and external partners throughout the closing process.

Qualifications:

• 2 years escrow/closing experience in the Title industry
• Experience preparing and reviewing settlement statements within the title, escrow, and/or real estate industry
• Strong understanding of real estate closing and settlement processes.
• Experience reviewing payment amounts, wiring instructions, and disbursement information.
• National Closing Coordinator or multi-state closing experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in financial and transaction information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively resolve issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across closing, escrow, funding, and wiring teams.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
