Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on International Tax Manager who will act as a deputy to the Group Head of Tax and help manage the tax agenda of an international real estate group.The role combines recurring group tax governance with international projects, tax reviews and practical support to local finance teams. The successful candidate should be comfortable moving between detailed tax calculations, cross-border technical questions, process improvements and coordination of external advisors.
This is not intended to be a narrowly specialized or purely advisory role. We are looking for someone who can assess an issue, recommend a practical solution and take responsibility for implementation.
- Support the Group Head of Tax in managing the international tax agenda.
- Develop and maintain group corporate income tax calculation templates and support their localization across countries.
- Coordinate quarterly reviews of current and deferred tax positions and monitor the Group’s effective tax rate.
- Support the definition and implementation of group tax and transfer pricing policies.
- Coordinate Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting, transfer pricing documentation and withholding tax matters.
- Support M&A transactions, financing and corporate structuring projects.
- Prepare standard group templates for agreements, tax calculations and supporting documentation.
- Review agreements and business arrangements from a tax perspective.
- Support local finance teams with complex tax matters, tax audits and ad hoc projects.
- Coordinate selected cross-border tax compliance matters, including dormant entities or jurisdictions.
- Cooperate with group auditors, external tax advisors and local tax teams.
- Improve tax processes, controls and reporting through standardization, automation and better use of data.
