As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization Desk in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will manage access, respond to security-related inquiries, communicate professionally, and help maintain a secure environment. - Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk while following site-specific policies and procedures.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor information, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
- Answer phones, receive deliveries, manage package or key logs, and communicate routine building information in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
- Observe lobby and entrance activity, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional front-desk presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
