Eaton’s EPG CPD PCD Power Components Division is currently seeking a Production Manager - Fabrication. This role takes place at our large Eaton facility in Beaver, PA. We are able to offer relocation assistance to qualified candidates within the United States.
Through a Play to Win mindset, the Production Manager - Fabrication is responsible for leading the fabrication team to achieve safe, high-quality, and efficient operations. This role drives workflow optimization, resolves production challenges, and ensures key performance objectives are met. The position fosters effective communication and collaboration across functions and with stakeholders to support production, quality, safety, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager oversees production resources and activities in alignment with established policies and practices while cultivating a positive employee relations environment through leadership behaviors consistent with Eaton's Culture Model.

## What you’ll do:
Production Operations & Performance Management
- Lead Production Supervisors and Fabrication Operators to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
- Direct daily fabrication activities to meet yield targets, on-time delivery commitments, OEE objectives, and customer requirements.
- Manage production scheduling, staffing, shift coverage, and overtime to ensure efficient operations across multiple shifts.
- Resolve production, quality, and customer demand issues, escalating critical concerns to site leadership when necessary.
People Leadership & Workforce Development
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Production Supervisors while fostering a high-performance team environment.
- Oversee employee training, skills development, performance evaluations, attendance management, and corrective action processes.
- Ensure employees progress through training programs effectively and are properly qualified for assigned roles.
- Maintain positive employee relations and compliance with labor agreements, recommending disciplinary actions when appropriate.
Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, housekeeping standards, and 5S+ practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing safety, quality, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
- Drive the elimination of waste, improve manufacturing methods, and promote efficient use of materials and resources.
- Maintain accountability for production quality standards and overall operational excellence within Fabrication Cells.
Equipment, Resources & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Develop deep expertise in fabrication processes and equipment to support efficient and reliable operations.
- Ensure machinery, tools, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained to maximize production performance.
- Partner with engineering, maintenance, quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve equipment and material-related issues.
- Maintain accurate production, attendance, performance, and departmental records while overseeing all fabrication cell resources, including equipment, processes, manpower, and materials.
## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing OR fabrication environment.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA from an accredited institution.
- 3 years of machine, fabrication, or metal work experience.
## Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and implement change activities.
- Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials management and quality assurance methods and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate employees.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships at all levels in the organization.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
