Description
Job Purpose
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be part of the team providing support for the Manila office. In this role you will be responsible for design, development, maintenance and ongoing support for the organisation's new custom Salesforce platform, supporting a key area of the business.
Key Accountabilities
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying complex custom-built solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Development of Salesforce applications in APEX programming language and Lightning Web Components
- Technical knowledge and expertise of Salesforce platform, framework, and ecosystem.
- A passion for Salesforce software development excellence, creative problem-solving ability, good communication and a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean maintainable Apex code as part of a continuous integration and delivery process.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of:
- Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Lightning Framework.
- Salesforce APIs and integrating with internal/external applications.
- Version control software such as GIT.
- JIRA & Confluence
- Design and develop Web Service or RESTful APIs
- Write Apex unit tests and maintain a high level of code test coverage
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Technical Skills and Experience
- Knowledgeable on Salesforce data model and security scheme (custom objects and fields, validation rules, sharing rules, etc.).
- Automation and logic (Workflows, Apex Triggers, basic understanding of governor limits, etc.).
- Writing unit tests.
- Custom UI development (LWC, Apex controllers, client-server interaction patterns, etc.)
- API integration (Salesforce REST API usage, error handling and retry logic, webhooks/outbound messaging, JSON/XML handling, etc.)
Essential
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and related
- Excellent communication skills (English)
- Great Attention to Detail
- Time management. Willing to work under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
