Description
At Curriculum Associates, we believe in the potential of every child and are changing the face of education technology with award-winning learning programs like i-Ready that serve a third of the nation’s K–8 students. For more than 50 years, our commitment to making classrooms better places, serving educators, and supporting accessible learning experiences for all students has driven the continuous improvement of our innovative programs. Our team of more than 2,500 employees is composed of lifelong learners who stand behind this mission, working tirelessly to serve the educational community with world-class programs and support every day.
The Sales Support and AI Advisor II is dedicated to day-to-day AI build work for Curriculum Associates' sales teams—building approved AI-powered tools, prompts, templates, and automations that save reps and leaders time, reduce friction, and give them more time in front of educators. This position picks up build requests from sales team members, delivers and documents the work, supports piloting, and shares proven builds and AI best practices across all six sales areas.
The remaining portion of the role supports the local sales team with field and territory activities by enhancing the team's efforts through prospecting, building strategic relationships, and supporting the successful implementation of Curriculum Associates solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales AI Enablement (Primary Focus – Approximately 80%)
- Build AI-powered tools, templates, and automations in Claude that eliminate repetitive work for sales reps and leaders, allowing teams to leverage scalable, prebuilt solutions.
- Write, test, and refine AI prompts tailored to specific sales workflows and business needs.
- Deliver short, targeted trainings that help sales teams effectively use AI tools, including prompt-writing techniques and Claude best practices.
- Execute AI build requests submitted through the Sales_AI Slack channel, delivering completed solutions and documenting outcomes.
- Capture and share successful prompts, tools, and learnings across all six sales areas so proven solutions can be reused across the organization.
- Pilot new AI builds with small groups of sales reps and leaders, gather feedback, and continuously improve solutions before broader rollout.
Territory & Field Sales Support (Approximately 20%)
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional service team members.
- Build relationships with educators in strategic pilot accounts and districts to support successful implementations in partnership with the local sales team.
- Prospect new schools and districts, understand customer needs, and introduce Curriculum Associates solutions that align to those needs.
- Conduct virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
- Develop expertise in Curriculum Associates' products, educational trends, classroom challenges, and instructional best practices.
- Monitor and respond promptly to internal and external communications.
- Note: The duties listed above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Specific assignments may vary based on business needs.

- Strong knowledge of K–8 education, curriculum, instructional practices, or experience supporting educators is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to build trust and credibility.
- Comfortable presenting to and engaging groups of approximately 20–35 participants.
- Continuous learner who can quickly absorb and apply new concepts.
