Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk of a commercial office location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Monitor access to the building or designated areas, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and/or contractor logs.
- Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and coordinate communication with building management, tenants, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Observe front desk activity, monitor available security-related systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including initiating site-specific emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
