Job Description

As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate office setting, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will serve as a visible, professional presence while communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a commercial office property.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems; report unusual activity and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and front-desk records while supporting a professional and welcoming lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
