Café Supervisor

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Preston to assist with the appointment of a Café Supervisor, on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.47 - £17.52 per hour

Summary:

Cafe Supervisor will support the Cafe Manager in the day-to-day operation of the café at Avenham Park. You will supervise front-of-house staff, ensure excellent customer service, maintain high operational standards, and help deliver an efficient and welcoming café environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Cafe Manager with the daily operation of the café.
• Supervise and support front-of-house staff during shifts.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
• Allocate duties and monitor staff performance throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and presentation.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.

Essentials:

• Previous experience working as a Cafe Supervisor or in a similar supervisory hospitality role.
• Experience supervising front-of-house staff.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
