Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include assisting department managers with critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive material and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities.
This role is a part of the Operations Management team and supports all of Client Protection. The role will be responsible for various program duties including site strategy, business continuity, and special projects. Key responsibilities will be to establish new programs, execute existing programs, influence key stakeholders, communicate to stakeholders and broader organization, and ensure compliance with policies and standards. This role will be the subject matter expert on the aligned programs and will need to execute at a high level of proficiency and proactiveness. Other programs and bodies of work will be aligned based upon business needs.
Responsibilities:
Assists with defining program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders
Partners closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new change initiatives
Supports the execution of defined tasks through tracking of program milestones and their statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks and produces program reports for managers and stakeholders
Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform in alignment with the program objectives
Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution
Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes to challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of project, program, operations, or business execution experience, including ownership of deliverables, timelines, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution
Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams, with ability to track milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions across competing priorities
Advanced attention to detail, evidenced by experience producing accurate reporting, executive-ready materials, compliance documentation, or project artifacts with minimal rework
Strong analytical and Excel skills, including ability to organize data, maintain trackers, identify trends, reconcile information, and summarize insights for decision-making
Experience supporting site strategy, location planning, business continuity, or governance-related execution, with measurable examples of project delivery, requirements tracking, issue escalation, process improvement, and adherence to standards
Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment, with examples of driving action, securing alignment, and delivering outcomes through partners who do not directly report to the role
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills, including experience preparing stakeholder updates, documenting decisions, leading meetings, and communicating status, risks, and next steps
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with high-quality work, including examples of delivering time-sensitive work products with accuracy, urgency, and appropriate escalation
Strong organizational and planning skills, including use of project plans, action logs, risk/issue trackers, decision logs, or other tools to create transparency and accountability
Demonstrated problem-solving capability, including ability to identify root causes, assess options, recommend solutions, and execute follow-through to resolution
Ability to build effective partnerships across lines of business, functions, and support teams, with measurable examples of collaboration that improved execution, reduced risk, or strengthened operational outcomes
