Job title – Supply Chain Specialist (Animal Nutrition)
Location – Across APAC Countries
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to join the EssCo Regional team.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee the inventory of in-house manufactured materials, guaranteeing optimal inventory levels and taking proactive measures to identify and address potential supply risks within the regional distribution center and EssCo customers in the region. This pivotal role involves strategic engagement with the GSM team but also clear alignment with the regional sales organization to fulfill regional requirements, streamlining internal processes to enhance customer satisfaction and achieving the regional supply chain objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Supply Planning & Inventory Management
- Collaborate with E2E Supply Manager to ensure appropriate inventory levels in the region, swiftly identifying anomalies and determining root causes. Coordinate phase-in/out strategies and material substitutions in partnership with Nutritional Services and Commercial.
- Work with Global Supply & Inventory Planners and Global Supply Chain Managers to ensure timely replenishment shipments to the Regional Distribution Center. Monitor and promptly communicate any shipment delays or issues to the EssCo E2E Supply Manager and Commercial team.
- Support the Commercial Team and Customer Care in resolving order fulfillment issues, including inventory allocation and special batch requirements.
- Provide support to the E2E Supply Manager in effectively managing working capital and achieving regional inventory targets.
Transport Coordination & Execution
- Support the coordination of the transportation flows by the 3PL from port to regional distribution center and from warehouse to customers, ensuring service, cost, and lead-time targets are met.
- Support the global team to set up a global 4PL project implementation
- Ensure good collaboration with the logistic service provider to resolve operational issues (delays, documentation, customs constraints) in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and logistics partners.
- Support optimization of transport flows, consolidation opportunities, and freight cost efficiency in alignment with regional logistics strategy.
3PL & Warehouse Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for the regional 3PL warehouse provider, ensuring alignment on inbound, storage, and outbound operations.
- Support day-to-day coordination and oversight of the regional warehouse performed by the logistic service provider, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels (OTIF, lead times, inventory accuracy).
- Monitor warehouse performance (e.g., stock accuracy, handling times, dispatch reliability) and escalate deviations or risks.
- Coordinate with 3PL on inventory issues (damages, blocked stock, discrepancies) and drive timely resolution in collaboration with Quality and Supply teams.
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes, contributing to efficiency, service reliability, and cost optimization.
Cross-functional Alignment
- Ensure strong coordination between Planning, Logistics, Commercial, Customer Care, and external partners (3PL, carriers).
- Provide visibility on supply and logistics risks, enabling proactive decision-making and prioritization.

You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience in Production, Planning, or Inventory Analysis
- 3–5+ years of experience in supply coordination, logistics, and/or inventory management
- Experience working in regional or international B2B supply chains, preferably within APAC
- Proficiency of SAP Materials Management and Sales and Distribution functions.
- Demonstrated statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills using various software and tools.
- Proficiency and experience with a variety of Supply Chain Management concepts and procedures e.g. MRP, Inventory Coverage, Operating Working Capital, Demand Planning, OTIF (On Time In Full).
- Experience working within or closely alongside logistics operations.
- Solid quantitative computer skills including MS suite.
- Strong experience in SAP (APO/R3), BW and the master data driving the various systems and processes.
