Supply Chain Specialist

For our Wind Business in Flender, we are searching for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team located in Adana.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing commodity strategies, managing supplier lifecycles and adhering to global procurement processes, systems and quality standards.

Job Description:

• Implementing Commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials
• Contributing to implementation and ensuring usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
• Preparing and conducting negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings
• Generating, documenting and implementing savings to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent
• Executing Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
• Ensuring close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement
• Providing supplier information to the project and conducting project-specific supplier evaluations (project evaluations)
• Cooperating with the Procurement, Controlling and Logistics functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to SC processes, guidelines, and tools
• Communicating with Supply Quality Management in accordance with the superior

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related engineering discipline
• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, and purchasing within a global manufacturing environment
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering drawings
• Experience with purchasing casted parts, welded fabrication and machined components
• Hands-on experience with SAP procurement-related modules (e.g., MM) and purchasing processes
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to Travel within Türkiye
