What you will do:
Import
- Coordinate with commercial and process POs, follow-up any changes
- Coordinate with shipper regarding samples/packaging/labeling etc.
- Obtains, in time, quotations from forwarder
- Check shipping documents, booking on time
- Secures insurance when relevant
- Applies for import licenses if needed
- Applies for customs duties exemption when possible
- Prepare customs clearance documents, handle additional requirements
- Organizes for inland transportation
- Handle invoice in InvoiceTrack
Export
- Liaison between CHI and Lonza Nansha for LCAR shipment globally
- Confirm booking according to orders & shipping instructions
- Confirm with consignee for docs and shipping schedule
- Consolidate all docs required, file and attach to shipment
- Create proforma invoice if air shipment
- Coordinate with Nansha and forwarder to ensure on-time shipment
- Handle invoice in InvoiceTrack
- Notify interested parties in case of any problem
Others
- Back up for Imp & Exp officer
- Further duties with SCL site expansion
- Perform other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
- Degree:Bachelor
- Field of Study: International trade
- 5‑year supply‑chain experience, proficient in international trade
- Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong Analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis
- Competent using MS office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to utilize Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports
- Customer service mindset and ability to manage several priorities simultaneously
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skill sets
- Working knowledge of general business practices
