Svitzer is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Operations team in Angola. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on supply chain professional to play a key role in supporting our marine operations by ensuring the efficient flow of materials, services, and equipment required to keep our business moving safely and effectively.

This role is based in Soyo reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating procurement, warehousing, inventory management, logistics, and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) activities across our operations. Working closely with vessel crews, operational teams, suppliers, and finance, you will help ensure that critical supplies and services are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented supply chain professional who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service and support.

You will ideally bring:

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or inventory management.

• Experience within the maritime, oil & gas, logistics, industrial, or similar operational sectors.

• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, inventory control, and Purchase-to-Pay activities.

• Experience coordinating warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Angolan import/export regulations and customs clearance processes.

• Experience working with ERP systems (Sertica or similar) for procurement and inventory management.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

• Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
