What you’ll be doing...
As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the Planning team. Your responsibilities will include supply replenishment planning, interpreting forecasts, managing stock transfer orders, and cross-functional team coordination. The ability to interpret data, leverage analytics to make decisions, and drive change will be essential to your success in this role.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
Defining, developing, and managing daily supply planning and inventory optimisation needs for a vast assortment of Verizon products and services.
Managing the replenishment planning/forecasting process and meeting deadlines effectively.
Ensuring consistent and adequate supply to maintain established service level targets for the entire product portfolio while maximising working capital.
Performing detailed analysis of data from various sources and weekly inventory valuations using system tools to make informed decisions.
Collaborating in cross-functional project teams to meet deliverables and strategic objectives.
Driving continuous improvement in day-to-day operations and implementing inventory optimisation strategies.
Strategically adjusting inventory levels based on market conditions, promotions, and demand fluctuations.
What we’re looking for…
You'll need to have:
A Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland. We are currently unable to support employment permit sponsorship.
Strong business acumen and an understanding of relationship management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to create and deliver executive presentations.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Supply Chain or Planning Experience, preferably in a telecoms or high-tech environment.
Experience with planning, replenishment, S&OP processes, IBP, and SAP.
Data Analysis Experience: Apply analytical techniques such as optimisation, simulation, data mining, and statistics to validate and refine models and algorithms to optimise the supply chain.
Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office and Google applications, coupled with strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory improvement initiatives with a focus on Supply Planning, Inventory Optimisation, CPFR processes, and S&OP processes.
Vendor management experience and the ability to manage a subset of suppliers effectively.
