This position requires regular on-property presence and close collaboration with hotel leadership. We are looking for someone who enjoys being engaged with the operation, building relationships, and actively influencing the hotel's commercial strategy.
Responsibilities
Lead the hotel's overall revenue management strategy, including pricing, forecasting, inventory management, segmentation, and distribution.
Develop and execute strategic pricing strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, market share, and total hotel profitability.
Analyze market trends, competitive set performance, booking pace, demand patterns, and business intelligence to identify revenue opportunities.
Utilize Marriott revenue management platforms, including OneYield, along with reporting and analytical tools to optimize hotel performance.
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to develop strategies for group, transient, corporate, negotiated, promotional, and leisure business.
Monitor performance against budget, forecast, and competitive benchmarks, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
Lead regular revenue strategy meetings and effectively communicate recommendations and business insights to hotel leadership.
Oversee distribution channel strategy, rate positioning, inventory controls, and channel profitability.
Collaborate with the General Manager, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align revenue strategies with overall hotel objectives.
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to revenue management team members.
Stay current on luxury hospitality trends, Marriott brand standards, revenue technology, and industry best practices.
Balance short-term revenue opportunities with long-term profitability and the overall luxury guest experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
5+ years of progressive hotel revenue management experience, preferably within a luxury, upper-upscale, or full-service hotel environment.
Previous Marriott International experience is strongly preferred, with familiarity with Marriott revenue management systems and processes.
Experience with Marriott OneYield or comparable hotel revenue management systems is highly desirable.
Previous supervisory or managerial experience with the ability to lead, develop, and influence a team.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing hotel revenue strategies, including pricing, forecasting, inventory management, segmentation, and distribution.
Strong understanding of hotel sales strategies, distribution channels, market positioning, and competitive set analysis.
Experience working with hotel sales and revenue technology platforms, CRM systems, and business intelligence tools.
Exceptional analytical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
Ability to confidently present revenue recommendations, influence decision-making, and communicate effectively with executive leadership.
Experience partnering with General Managers, Sales leaders, and other hotel stakeholders to drive financial results.
