Systems & Training Lead

Job Description

Our client, an international supply-chain and logistics services group, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Systems & Training Lead to support its ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will act as a key link between business stakeholders, Group IT and customers, ensuring that system enhancements meet business requirements and are effectively implemented. The role will involve gathering and documenting business requirements, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing system change requests, preparing project documentation and delivering user and customer training on the company's core operations platform and customer portal.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on agreed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and Group IT to gather requirements and develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, business cases, process flows and UI mock-ups.
• Maintain and manage the backlog of system change requests, bugs, data changes and ongoing projects, coordinating with IT teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate system enhancements, testing activities and deployment processes.
• Prepare release notes and communicate system updates and changes to relevant stakeholders following each deployment.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for existing employees and new joiners on business systems and processes.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
• Develop and maintain user manuals, training materials, demonstration decks and tender documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective system adoption and continuous improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Support, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL and Power BI. Knowledge of Tableau would be an added advantage.
• Experience using Figma or similar tools for UI mock-ups and process visualisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot and PowerPoint.
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities, manage priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365, Copilot, Figma, SQL or Power BI would be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in the logistics, shipping or supply-chain industry would be highly desirable.
