Description
Role
Hive Robotics is building Europe’s first full-stack orchestration platform for unmanned systems: connecting, controlling and commanding multi-vendor drone and robot swarms. Our RF communication systems are Made in Germany, in serial production, deployed on active frontlines and targeting a highly valued tactical communication market with zero sovereign alternatives today.
As our working student or intern in Product Marketing, you make our products easy to understand. What our engineers build is hard to explain in one sentence. Your job is to find that sentence, then turn it into posts, visuals, short videos and sales material a customer understands at first glance. You run the Hive LinkedIn page, build the material our sales team takes to customers and trade fairs, and use AI tools every day to produce more without dropping the quality. This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one: what you make goes live, lands in front of customers and shapes how the market sees Hive. You work closely with our founders and report to the CEO.
The role is on-site in our Munich office: the products you photograph, film and explain are here, and so are the engineers who know them best. It runs for six months, either as a working student at 20 hours a week or as a full-time internship.
Responsibilities
- Write articles for the news section of our website about our products and the real-world problems they solve
- Make our products visible: shoot photos and short videos on site, and create explainer graphics and visuals that make complex systems click
- Own the Hive LinkedIn company page: plan the content calendar, write and publish posts, and keep the conversation going in the comments
- Build and maintain the sales kit: company and product decks, one-pagers and datasheets our sales team takes to customers and trade fairs
- Plan and run small product marketing campaigns end to end: idea, assets, posting schedule and a look at the analytics afterwards to learn what worked
- Use AI tools every day for text, images and video, then edit until the result is technically accurate and on brand
- Build a small library of prompts, templates and AI workflows the whole team can reuse
- Keep everything on brand: templates, moodboards and one consistent look across LinkedIn, website and sales material
Requirements
Must Have
- Enrolled for the full six months in an advanced Bachelor’s or a Master’s program in marketing, communications, management & technology or a comparable field
- First hands-on experience in digital media: copywriting, photo and video editing (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Figma or similar)
- A technical streak: some experience in robotics, software, mechanical engineering or a comparable field, from your studies, projects or work
- AI native: you already use AI tools every day for text, images or video (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and you know where they fall short
- Curious about technology and able to explain it simply: for you, jargon in a post is a problem, not proof of expertise
- Hands-on and self-driven: you take an idea to a published result without waiting for step-by-step instructions
- Excellent written English
- Based in Munich or willing to relocate for the six months
- German proficiency
- First experience shaping a brand or product identity: moodboards, visual concepts, templates
- A portfolio of work you made: posts, visuals or videos
- Interest in drones, robotics, aerospace or defence
