Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Log in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, access control, and directions in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and provide information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
