Description
Build relationships with branch sales and operations leaders. Review previous day's route plan and gather adjustments. Confirm available trucks and drivers available for daily routes. Efficiently route daily orders based upon established business rules using RoadNet or Descartes Route Planner. Utilize Fleetloader or Black Box/Magic Logic to build pallets and load trucks efficiently. Provide daily reporting required to manage the delivery routes to the branches. Must have DOT regulation knowledge to safely route delivery teams. High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) 1 year experience with dispatching / routing in a logistics / supply chain management environment 2 years' experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook 1 year experience with Descartes Transportation Suite or similar routing software Minimal travel required
