As our Tax Administrator, you’ll play a key part in administration and coordination to assist that the company meets its tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:
Tax Meetings
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external tax meetings as requested.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, file meeting minutes, prepare and share action points.
Tax Registers
- Maintain and update the various tax registers.
Tax Profiles
- Maintain and update tax profiles for all relevant entities on revenue authority portals.
Tax Compliance
- Update and maintain the Tax Compliance Software Tool | Orbitax
- Update and maintain the Tax Compliance Calendar.
- Monitor the Tax Compliance Calendar for all periodic tax filings and payments and send notifications | reminders to finance and tax teams.
- Monitor tax filings and payments and update tax registers.
- Prepare and share monthly tax compliance status dashboards.
- Retain evidence of filings, notifications, approvals, and submissions.
Tax Audits
- Assist the tax team by providing ongoing support to internal and external tax audits.
- Assist the tax team with the gathering, preparation and submission of necessary information relating to internal and external tax audits.
External Engagement Management
- Work closely with the VP Tax, Head of Tax and Legal team and provide assistance when onboarding external advisors.
Audit & Corporate Governance
- Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual audit files.
- Coordinate and manage requested documentation and timeously obtain and upload to portals.
- Ensure that all controls are adhered to and documented for SOX compliance.
Financial Staffing
- Effectively work as a team with relevant team members.
- Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, to ensure expectations are met and potential problems are escalated timely.
Ad-Hoc Tax Duties
- Provide assistance and support for various tax-related projects and administrative matters as needed.
- Draft process notes detailing how and why monthly tasks are performed to ensure business continuity.
- Archive all financial information.
- Assist with raising tickets to resolve and improve issues / errors within the tax system and to update workflows following changes within the business.
- General tax administration as required.
- Assist with other ad hoc tasks as requested by the team from time to time.
- Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, to ensure expectations are met and potential problems are escalated timely

What you’ll bring
You’re someone who brings:
- Certificate or diploma in administration.
- 3+ years administration experience in business | accounting or tax environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals.
- Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations.
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:
- SOX and / or AFS experience.
- Experience in working with tax software - Thompson Reuters Orbitax and OneSource Provisioning Tool or Aibidia.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Business Central.
- Experience in FloQast and Confluence.
- Experience in IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 / Cognos.
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends.
- Experience in tax compliance and tax administrative management.
