Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Security in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment, respond to alarms or inquiries, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and access authorization, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as appropriate.
• Assist with communications, including answering phones, providing directions, receiving deliveries, and coordinating with building management and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
