About Lucid

At Lucid, we are creating exceptional mobility experiences through innovation to drive the world forward. Built on Lucid’s proprietary technology and software-defined vehicle architecture, our award-winning vehicles bring our “Compromise Nothing™” approach to the global automotive market. That means refusing to choose between performance and sustainability, design and engineering, ambition and integrity. In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.

We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.

Lucid Motors is seeking a strategic and creative Senior Manager of Social Media to lead the company's global organic social media presence. This role is responsible for shaping how Lucid’s brand appears across social platforms through premium storytelling, innovative content, and integrated campaigns that strengthen brand perception, engage customers throughout their ownership journey, encourage ownership and answer questions all to  support key business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a player-coach who can operate at multiple altitudes, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution. They are equally comfortable shaping long-term social strategy, influencing creative direction, leading cross-functional initiatives, analyzing performance, and supporting content development and channel operations when needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high performing Marketing team and business within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll collaborate with award-winning creative team, marketers, and cross functional teams to bring the Lucid story to life.

You Will:

Social Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Own and evolve Lucid's organic social media strategy across key platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent social voice and visual presence that reflects Lucid's premium brand positioning.
  • Translate product launches, brand campaigns, executive communications, customer stories, and business initiatives into platform-native content strategies.
  • Develop channel plans and editorial calendars that balance brand building, product storytelling, customer engagement, and business priorities.
  • Partner across the organization to ensure alignment across key initiatives and campaigns.
  • Work with the global teams to set the global social operating model, clarifying decision rights, approval paths and roles.

Content Development & Campaign Execution

  • Lead the planning, creation, publishing, and optimization of social content across all owned channels.
  • Partner closely with in house Creative and Brand teams as well as agencies to identify social-first storytelling opportunities and influence content development from concept through execution.
  • Oversee social coverage of launches, events, executive communications, partnerships, owner stories, and other high-priority brand initiatives.
  • Deliver high-quality content that drives engagement, ownership and understanding to support broader marketing objectives.
  • Ensure all content meets brand standards and platform best practices while maintaining a strong focus on audience relevance and performance.
  • Lead social-first production for launches, events, and real-time moments, including creative concepts, production planning, on-site direction, capture priorities, stakeholder coordination, rapid approvals, post-production, and timely publishing.

 Customer Engagement & Community

  • Develop social media programs that support customers throughout the marketing funnel, from awareness and consideration through ownership and advocacy.
  • Help cultivate meaningful engagement with prospective customers, owners, and brand enthusiasts across social platforms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to better serve and engage the Lucid community.
  • Monitor audience feedback, customer sentiment, and emerging opportunities to strengthen Lucid's digital presence and customer relationships.
  • Work closely with PR to prioritize social listening across owned and relevant non-owned conversations, identifying emerging issues, opportunities, competitive signals, customer sentiment, and reputational risks that require action.
  • Establish and manage protocols to capture, triage, route, escalate, and measure customer and owner issues surfaced through social channels, partnering with Customer Care, Communications, Sales, and other teams to improve response quality, resolution visibility, and the prospective customer experience.

 Performance, Optimization & Operations

  • Define and achieve channel goals, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and measurement standards.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across platforms, campaigns, and content formats to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Providing regular reporting on progress.
  • Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on platform developments, audience behavior, and industry trends to continuously improve performance.
  • Establish and manage social media governance, workflows, publishing operations, agency relationships, social management platforms, and reporting processes to ensure efficient execution across a fast-paced organization.
  • Advance measurement beyond platform engagement by implementing attribution standards and connecting organic social activity to website traffic, configurator engagement, lead signals, customer-care outcomes, and other indicators of consideration and demand.
  • Deliver recurring executive reporting that translates channel performance, audience growth, share of voice, sentiment, competitive benchmarks, cultural trends, and campaign results into clear business implications and prioritized recommendations.
  • Own the social technology roadmap and related governance, including platform evaluation, business requirements, integrations, access controls, data privacy, cybersecurity review, procurement, contracting, implementation, adoption, and vendor performance.
  • Manage agency scopes, budgets, staffing models, deliverables, service levels, and performance, holding partners accountable for strategic value, creative quality, operational consistency, and measurable results.

 Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor social media team members while fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a player-coach, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution across content development, publishing, reporting, campaign management, event coverage, and operational priorities.
  • Serve as the primary social media subject matter expert within the organization, championing best practices in storytelling, content strategy, and platform management.
  • Build strong relationships across Marketing, Communications/PR, Brand, and executive leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with Talent & Partnerships teams, agency partners, and creators to support partnership and creator initiatives that extend the reach and impact of key campaigns.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders while balancing brand priorities, customer needs, business objectives, and platform best practices.

 You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content strategy, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing social media programs for premium consumer brands, automotive brands, luxury brands, or other highly visible organizations.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, audience development, social platform ecosystems, and performance analytics.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and collaborating across multiple functions and stakeholders.
  • Strong creative instincts and experience working closely with creative, production, agency, and brand teams.
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing agencies, creators, production partners, and internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree
