3rd Shift Entry Level Mechanic

Shift: 10:30 PM-5:30 AM

Hourly Rate: $22.17 an hour + $$1.00 shift differential

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work onsite at the Marshall, Missouri facility, supporting production operations through the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of plant and production equipment. You will help maintain equipment reliability, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and complete repairs that support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts and components on plant and production equipment.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
• Inspect machines and equipment to identify problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to support continuous production.
• Use equipment manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, and parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test equipment and components.
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
• Perform welding, electrical, and fabrication work as needed.
• Work extended shifts, overtime, and weekends based on production and business needs.

Ingredients Required for Your Success:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Vocational or technical training in machine maintenance.
• Electrical experience.
• Read and write English to complete production and quality documentation.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
• Familiarity with basic shop equipment, electric arc welders, plasma cutters, torches, and basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements:

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
