About the Company
Our client is a global research, insight, and advisory firm working with leading multinational corporations across more than 70 countries and 30 industry sectors, partnering with them on technology adoption, evangelisation, and commercialisation. Its Energy Practice supports energy companies and organisations across the full value chain, spanning oil and gas, power and utilities, renewables, energy transition, energy infrastructure, and emerging energy technologies. The practice combines deep techno-commercial expertise with an extensive industry network to help clients navigate disruption, identify growth opportunities, and make informed strategic decisions. As decarbonisation, electrification, digitalisation, and new regulatory and business models reshape the sector, the practice is evolving its offerings to blend strategic advisory, market intelligence, technology insight, and AI-enabled decision support.
The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit a Practice Head – Energy to define and execute the strategic direction, business growth, client engagement, and overall P&L of its Energy Practice. The successful candidate will own the practice strategy, build and deepen strategic client relationships, develop new revenue streams, and position the firm as a trusted strategic advisory partner to global energy organisations.
This is a senior executive appointment. The Practice Head will engage directly with CEOs, C-suite leaders, business heads, and investors on the strategic issues shaping the energy sector, lead high-value advisory engagements, shape the practice’s intellectual agenda, and represent the firm at industry forums and executive platforms. Alongside commercial ownership, the role carries responsibility for building the practice’s capabilities, talent, culture, and external ecosystem, and for ensuring the firm continues to deliver differentiated value as AI, automation, and digital intelligence reshape the advisory landscape.
The role is based in the United Kingdom, with home working available subject to business requirements and management discretion.
