Summary

We are expanding our national presence and bringing our innovative value-based care solutions to new markets. To support this continued growth, our Business Development team is seeking a high-performing leader to develop partnerships with large senior living organizations across key markets in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona, including Dallas, Austin, Denver, and Phoenix.

This leader will cultivate executive-level relationships, assess prospective partner needs, and develop strategies that address complex clinical, operational, and financial challenges. Solutions may include Curana Health’s primary care-focused medical group, Medicare Accountable Care Organizations, and Medicare Advantage health plans, offered individually or in combination.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven organization at a pivotal stage of growth and play a critical role in expanding innovative care models across high-potential markets. The successful candidate will be a strategic, commercially minded, and relationship-driven business development leader with a proven ability to accelerate growth, build executive-level partnerships, influence key decision-makers, and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.

The ideal candidate will bring the executive presence and communication skills needed to translate clinical, operational, and financial capabilities into compelling partnership strategies.

A strong preference will be given to candidates who reside in the Dallas, Texas area due to the significant market opportunity. Denver, Colorado, is the secondary preferred location.

  • Build and manage a disciplined regional pipeline using Salesforce and other company CRM tools.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and partnership proposals to C-suite executives and other senior decision-makers.
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial partnership agreements with senior living organizations.
  • Collaborate with Curana Health’s operational leaders to support in-market lead generation, contracting, implementation, and long-term partnership success.
  • Based on market needs, lead and develop a highly productive, commercially oriented regional business development team.
  • Attend conferences, industry meetings, and regional events to build relationships and support market growth.
  • Travel approximately 30 to 40% throughout the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Commercial mindset and comfort working in a performance-driven, deal-based environment.
  • Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Residence in, or strong familiarity with, one or more of the assigned markets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30 to 40% throughout Dallas, Austin, Denver, Phoenix, and surrounding market areas.
  •

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the senior living industry and the clinical, operational, and financial challenges facing operators.
  • Familiarity with value-based care models, Accountable Care Organizations, Medicare Advantage, and healthcare payment structures.
  • Experience selling or developing partnerships around healthcare solutions for senior living communities.

  • Ability to connect clinical outcomes, operational execution, and financial value within a compelling partnership strategy.
  • Demonstrated success driving market expansion, revenue growth, territory growth, or long-term partnership value.
  • Existing relationships with senior housing operators or executive-level healthcare decision-makers.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or building business development teams.
